1. CASBEE for Market Promotion Certificate

1) Overview of the certificate

Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE) is an assessment system for green buildings, developed by a committee of Japan Sustainable Building Consortium (JSBC) under the initiative of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism. The system was developed to promote green buildings.

CASBEE for Market Promotion, developed in 2012, is based on the assumption that it is used by real estate development and transaction professionals. Accordingly the assessment standards focus on those strongly related to real estate valuation. A third party judges the assessment result and grants the certificate.
