karaksa hotel to open its first in Tokyo
XYMAX Corporation (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenji Yoshimoto) (“XYMAX”) will open its first karaksa hotel in Tokyo. Two hotels are scheduled to open in the Ginza and Yaesu area in 2019.
Considering the shortage of hotels targeting tourists in Japan, Xymax developes and manages “karaksa hotel” a new style of minimalist hotel for tourists. To meet the demand of family or group tourists, all of the guestrooms are twin rooms over 20sqm. The hotel puts a lot of thought in designing the guestrooms. Many of which are connecting rooms with a separate shower room, washroom and bathroom for comfortable use of multiple guests.
So far, there are four hotels in Osaka and Kyoto. New hotel is scheduled to open in Sapporo in January 22nd, 2018, two more scheduled to open in Ginza and Yaesu area in Tokyo in 2019 and the biggest hotel with 398 guestrooms will open in Shin-Osaka. XYMAX aims to open ten hotels with 1500 guestrooms in the country before 2020.
